Setting up an arrangement with my wife

My wife and I have a don't ask don't tell policy. I've told her that I do this because she doesn't meet my needs and she's ok with it, just doesn't want to hear about it and wants to make sure I'm safe and don't spend too much money every month. It took a while to get her to this point but I'm glad I did, it's definitely worth it for the peace of mind.
